MXD Group Promotes Jeff Abeson to New Chief Sales Officer Position

Logistics services firm MXD Group has promoted Jeff Abeson, formerly Vice President of Business Development and Account Management, to Chief Sales Officer.

The position was added to the company’s C-level leadership suite as part of MXD Group’s amplified investment in growing the business through new partnerships.

Leveraging Abeson’s 10 years of sales experience combined with 10 years of logistics industry experience, MXD Group wants to hone its growth strategies by dedicating executive time and resources to their execution.

“This gives us a chance to finesse the strategies that help us effectively grow the business,” said Abeson. “Dedicating a Chief Sales Officer is an investment toward what we must do to enhance our service offering.”

Abeson has driven growth in the logistics space since 2005, having served various operations and business development roles with Exel/DHL, UPS Supply Chain and i2 Technologies. He earned his bachelor’s of science in transportation and distribution management from Syracuse University.
