Jude Kearney Participates in Tony Blair Africa Governance Initiative-US Event
WASHINGTON, D.C. (PRWEB) October 04, 2015 -- Jude Kearney, Chair of Greenberg Traurig’s Africa Practice, participated as a member of the host committee and group leader during the recent Tony Blair Africa Governance Initiative-US event which took place on Monday, Sept. 28 in New York.
Kearney, other members of the host committee, and event participants, which included Former British Prime Minister, Tony Blair, gathered to address current obstacles facing many African countries, and the role that the US can play in minimizing these challenges.
The Tony Blair Africa Governance Initiative (AGI) helps African leaders bridge the gap between their vision for a better future and their government’s ability to achieve it. AGI does this by strengthening the government’s capacity to deliver programs that will change ordinary people’s lives for the better. AGI works with Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Guinea, Nigeria and Ethiopia at present, with new countries on the horizon.
