“Our intention is to provide training to as many professionals as possible in order to build and develop skills and knowledge about eating disorders,” said Bonnie Harken, The iaedp Foundation's Managing Director. “With increases in eating disorders seen in both children, among students on college campuses, and among both women and men, understanding the latest research and continually receiving training is critical for both providers and professionals.”
Over 29.5 hours of continuing treatment education is scheduled to occur during the 2016 Symposium, from the informative presentations to exclusive networking opportunities. Attendees also can choose to extend their time at the conference by signing up for pre-conference sessions. A workshop faculty of thought leaders will lead presentations and interact with attendees on the state of the field as well as emerging research and treatment trends.
