DSFederal, Inc. Expands into HRSA HIV/AIDS, Maternal and Child Health Bureaus
Rockville, MD (PRWEB) October 06, 2015 -- DSFederal, Inc. today announced three new contract awards within the Health Resources and Services Administration’s (HRSA) Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB) and HIV/AIDS Bureau (HAB). The projects reinforce DSFederal’s commitment to supporting public health organizations that ensure quality health care for mothers, children, and people living with HIV/AIDS.
On the first contract, DSFederal will provide expert advice on redesigning the National Survey of Children’s Health (NSCH) – the only source of national-level data on the health of children and their families. The other two projects, “Healthy Start: Monitoring and Evaluation Data” and “Building Futures: Supporting Youth Living with HIV/AIDS” will assess grantee health outcomes under the Healthy Start and Ryan White HIV/AIDS Programs, respectively, through data collection and analysis.
Throughout all three efforts, DSFederal connects the dots with our partners, including ICF International, Abt Associates, and Cicatelli Associates, Inc., to deliver world-renowned subject matter expertise and cutting-edge technological prowess. Both NSCH and Building Futures were competed through the HRSA Technical Assistance IDIQ, a contract that offers HRSA access to more than 100 public health experts.
As a firm that established itself through projects managing and disseminating critical health information, these newly awarded efforts “lie at the core of DSFederal’s mission,” said CEO Sophia Parker. “Our goal is to improve public health through innovative technology and specialized expertise. From our charity work overseas helping mothers and children in Afghanistan to our growing support for HRSA, we are committed to improving health outcomes for underprivileged populations.”
