ISO 27001 is the international standard for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS), providing a framework for an ISMS that enables the continued accessibility, confidentiality and integrity of information as well as legal compliance.
The standard has been recently revised and Rivo has successfully adapted its ISMS in order to meet the new requirements. As a result Rivo offers a more flexible and streamlined approach supporting even more effective risk management in the development and delivery of our services. Rivo has also put in place new controls that further support the changing landscape of our information services and improvements to security controls to deal with today’s and tomorrow’s risks more effectively.
Nik Rhodes, Rivo CIO commented: “The new ISO27001 standard is the first revision in 8 years and has a much greater focus on both continuous improvement and risk ownership, both of which are important areas for Rivo software. This year I have implemented improved risk management and user feedback processes to better address the complex security environment that Rivo, like many other businesses, face on a daily basis.”
