Mercy Corps Names Dara Royer Chief Development and Marketing Officer
Portland, Ore. (PRWEB) October 05, 2015 -- Mercy Corps has appointed Dara Royer to the position of Chief Development and Marketing Officer. In this role, Royer will lead Mercy Corps’ fundraising, marketing and communications teams to advance the work of Mercy Corps in over 40 countries.

Royer joined Mercy Corps in 2013 from ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, where she served as Vice President of Brand Marketing. Prior to St. Jude, Royer served on a number of marketing and fundraising leadership roles, including Senior Vice President of Corporate and Community Affairs at Cook Children’s Healthcare System. She started her career as a television journalist in several large U.S. markets and was recognized with both Emmy and Associated Press awards.
Royer succeeds Jeremy Barnicle, who will remain with Mercy Corps as a senior advisor to the CEO and the Global Leadership Council.
