C.A.R. Recognizes Bay Sotheby's International Realty Agent Anthony Cassel as Champion of Home
BERKELEY, CA (PRWEB) October 07, 2015 -- The CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® (C.A.R.) will honor Alameda and Contra Costa Counties REALTOR® Anthony Cassel as a “Champion of Home” during the CALIFORNIA REALTOR® EXPO 2015 & Award luncheon to be held on October 7th in San Jose, CA. The award is given to a California REALTOR® who has changed their clients’ lives for the better, raised the standards for others, and led by example. In its third year, the award honors REALTORS® who have been selected by their peers as individuals who have gone to great lengths on behalf of their clients and practice business with the highest ethics and morals.
“Anthony is an exemplary REALTOR® who pushes himself and consistently sets higher standards by showing extreme diligence and empathy in serving his clients,” said C.A.R. President Chris Kutzkey. “He is not only successful in his business, but it’s clear he is passionate about what he does both for his clients and his community. He is a true hero, and I’m proud to recognize him as a 2015 Champion of Home.”

A successful entrepreneur under 40, Cassel received his California real estate license 10 years ago and began working in residential real estate in late 2012. In representing a seller, professionalism and experience allows his clients to step back and leave the process entirely in Anthony’s hands. When the roof sprang a leak, Cassel was there within minutes and called someone to have it repaired. On moving day, the seller didn’t have anyone to help him move things out of his garage, so Anthony called some movers who took care of it immediately and paid for the movers out of his own pocket.
"It’s a relationship business, and clients trust us to do what’s best for them. My goal is to treat every situation as if it were my own. I want to do what feels right whether that means closing a deal or not. Life is too short to choose money over people or our reputations and integrity,” stated Anthony Cassel, REALTOR® of Bay Sotheby’s International Realty.
Passionate about making a difference, Cassel is a proud supporter of Home for a Home—a San Francisco-based charity funding the construction of safe, secure homes in the poorest area of highland Guatemala. Anthony donates a portion of his real estate commission and travels to Guatemala to help build homes for families. He’s worked on an initiative to provide a men’s homeless shelter in Berkeley. He and his wife are active in animal rescue groups and are currently preparing to open an animal sanctuary. When he isn’t working with home buyers or sellers, he’s mentoring new agents, taking them on showings, and offering support and advice.
