Edit911, one of the world's leading online editing services, recently launched a new Chinese website, in conjunction with offering the popular Chinese payment gateway Alipay, for customers in mainland China. Additionally, Edit911 finalized a contract to provide proofreading services for many of the scholars and scientists at the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS; Chinese: 中国科学院).

Edit911’s Vice-President Briana Baldwin, who represented the company during a recent trip to Beijing and Hong Kong, had this to say:

"In China, I had the privilege of meeting with some of our corporate and university clients, in addition to experiencing the incredible beauty and hospitality the country has to offer. We're honored and excited to be the go-to editing service for many of the researchers at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and to present our new Mandarin Chinese website, at our new top-level Chinese domain: http://edit911.cn.”

Alipay, a division of the global giant Alibaba Group, is the most popular method of payment for Chinese Internet users due to its high level of security and brand recognition. With more than 300 million registered users and 80 million transactions per day, Alipay is leading a digital finance revolution in China. Alipay has rigorous standards for inclusion in its program for international companies. Alibaba conducted a rigorous vetting process before accepting Edit911 into their family of trusted merchants.

Many researchers at the Chinese Academy of Sciences also conducted an extensive investigation of Edit911. Their findings convinced them to use the editing services provided by Edit911. The CAS is an institution of the State Council of China. It functions as a national scientific thinktank and academic governing body, providing advisory and appraisal services on a diverse set of issues.

Edit911 owes this success to its staff, which consists entirely of PhDs—from a wide variety of disciplines—who are all expert ESL (English as a Second Language) editors, highly skilled at editing non-native English. This high level of expertise and Edit911’s 15-year track record of having edited thousands of documents for clients from China, and many other Asian countries, paved the way for these historic relationships with the Chinese government, Alibaba, and the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
