As the Director of Human Resources, I will leverage my experience in big corporations, behavioral health services and the home care business in selecting the “best of the best” caregivers and finding and developing new qualified talent for our company.
Prescott, AZ (PRWEB) October 08, 2015
Home Care Assistance of Prescott, the leading provider of in-home care for seniors in northern Arizona, welcomes April Knack as its new Director of Human Resources and Training. As the Director of Human Resources, April’s role will largely focus on recruiting, hiring and retaining the best team of caregivers in the industry. In addition, April is the leader for all training events including new hire orientation, ongoing Home Care Assistance University based education and development, and First Aid/CPR certification classes for caregivers and the greater Prescott community.
“As the Director of Human Resources, I will leverage my experience in big corporations, behavioral health services and the home care business in selecting the “best of the best” caregivers and finding and developing new qualified talent for our company. The superior quality of our caregivers is one of the key differentiators and a driver of business success,” said Knack. “In addition, I look forward to driving a new level of satisfaction to our in-home care clients. Based upon this resource model, I would recommend Home Care Assistance to anyone looking for care for their loved ones.”
April began her career in sales and training in a Fortune 500 consumer products company, progressing quickly into management roles in training and marketing where she coached and educated both management and staff. Subsequently, she shifted her career to behavioral health where she became Training and Compliance Administrator for northern Arizona’s largest behavioral health provider, forming a bridge between Human Resources, Training, Compliance, and Clinical departments from both intra-agency and extra-agency perspectives.
“April was our first key hire and has made a huge impact to our business,” said Carol White, Owner of Home Care Assistance of Northern Arizona. “Her energy, knowledge and ability to focus allows her to achieve more in four hours than many accomplish in eight. As a result, April has also taken on the additional role as office manager enabling effectiveness and efficiency across the Home Care Assistance headquarters staff. April is my ‘right hand’ and I cannot run this organization without her.”
Knack is joining Home Care Assistance in a stage of incredible growth and incremental success. The company is in the midst of an aggressive international expansion campaign with plans to have 120 offices open by the end of 2016.
