Graebel Relocation Sponsors Charity Event Ride430 Challenge
Aurora COLO USA (PRWEB) October 07, 2015 -- Next week, Graebel Relocation will sponsor the Ride430 Challenge, a non-profit cycling event, hosted by the Free Wheel Foundation, that helps give America’s injured military service people and their families cope and provides assistance on the road to recovery. Cyclists will begin the Ride430 Challenge in Phoenix, Arizona on October 14 and in four days, travel up to 100 miles per day, will ride over 16,000 feet of vertical climbing and finish the course in Tempe, Arizona. This is the eighth year of the Ride430 Challenge and in the last seven years, riders have raised over 1.8 million dollars.
According to the Free Wheel Foundation website, money raised by the Ride430 Challenge supplements military assistance and bridges gaps to help injured service people and families who lost loved ones recover. The funding helps provide financial assistance, scholarships and adaptive sports equipment for injured heroes to camps for kids who have lost a parent in combat.
For decades, the Graebel organization has actively supported philanthropic endeavors, sponsored charitable events, and has encouraged volunteerism. In 2008, the Graebel organization launched a companywide Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative that is shaped by the United Nations’ model to protect people (human capital), planet (natural capital) and profits (economic environment).
