Tony Roma’s Rings in Holiday Party Season with New Prohibition Menu
Orlando, Fla. (PRWEB) October 08, 2015 -- Iconic restaurant brand Tony Roma’s announces a new Prohibition Menu, featuring whisky-infused sauces and specialty drinks, offered October 14 – December 22 at participating U.S. locations. The new menu debuts on National Dessert Day when a top-secret new dessert will be revealed.
“The food and beverages on our new Prohibition menu hearken back to the times of the speakeasy and will excite the senses of our loyal guests,” said Jim Rogers, Chief Marketing Officer for Romacorp, Inc., parent company of Tony Roma’s. “This menu features sophisticated— yet unpretentious —variations on classic dishes and invites our guests to enjoy a classy evening out, without needing a Rockefeller bankroll to fund it.”
Start the night off with the Fried Brussels Sprouts complemented with a lemon horseradish aioli. For your entrée, choose between the Black Tie Steak Combo, a 6oz. sirloin steak topped with Whisky Barrel sauce and served with bacon wrapped shrimp skewers, and the Bourbon Maple BBQ Pork Chop with a Bourbon Maple BBQ sauce and Angry apple topping made with Angry Orchard cider. Both entrées are served with a side of mustard mashed potatoes and fire-roasted vegetables.
At the bar, guests can enjoy two new drinks that capture the mood of the new Prohibition menu. Made of iconic Cutty Sark Prohibition whisky, the Prohibition Manhattan uses Angostura bitters, Peychaud’s bitters, fresh lime juice, simple syrup, and fresh orange to create a fresh, modern twist on a classic drink. Or spice things up with the Angrytini, our newest Romatini™, featuring Bombay Sapphire gin, sweet vermouth, Angry Orchard cider, agave syrup, red apple, and cinnamon.
In celebration of National Dessert Day on October 14, Tony Roma’s will unveil a new dessert that highlights the flavors of the season. “We’ve been teasing our guests about this new dessert for a couple of weeks, keeping them guessing about what’s to come,” said Chef Bob Gallagher, Senior Vice President of Culinary & Purchasing for Romacorp, Inc. “When it’s revealed, our fans will be excited to see this new dessert provides a scrumptious complement to our hearty new menu, bringing together the best flavors of the fall.”
