New SAE International Presentation Discusses Internal-Combustion Engine Design and Optimization
WARRENDALE, Pa. (PRWEB) October 12, 2015 -- A new presentation from SAE International will show how ANSYS complementary core technologies allow ANSYS Forte to leverage automation and parametric capabilities to enable engine designers to perform extensive design exploration studies.
Sponsored by ANSYS, “Internal-Combustion Engine Design and Optimization” will be held Wednesday, Oct. 21 at 2 p.m. EDT.
Internal-combustion engine designers are continually under pressure to reduce fuel consumption and improve efficiency. ANSYS Forte makes use of the industry’s most accurate fuel chemistry and spray models in simulations to predict the impact of multiple engine design attributes on performance, fuel economy, and emissions.
Attendees will learn about key capabilities and recent enhancements to ANSYS Forte, along with use cases that demonstrate how Forte operates as a combustion system design tool. Attendees will be invited to ask questions during the webinar’s Q&A segment.
Speakers for the webinar will include:
• Laz Foley, PhD, Principal Engineer, ANSYS Inc.
• Andre Bakker, PhD, Senior Director, ANSYS Fluids Business Unit
