Santa Rosa Consulting and The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center are pleased to announce their partnership as MD Anderson prepares to go-live on the Epic platform in March of 2016. Both entities have already begun preparation for this large, multi-phase effort planned for early 2016. Santa Rosa will execute the contract by supporting Scheduling Appointment Conversion and the Go-Live.

“We are honored to have been chosen as a trusted partner for MD Anderson’s go-live. At Santa Rosa, we are fully prepared to support MD Anderson’s needs during this critical time,” added Dan Dodson, Senior Vice President of Santa Rosa. “MD Anderson is a renowned, world-class organization. We have honed our team, refined our best practices and cultivated a stellar group of associates to appropriately support this sizeable project.”

Santa Rosa was recently recognized by KLAS Research in the “2015 Midterm Performance Review” as having the highest overall rating in Go-Live Support amongst vendors. Santa Rosa was also recently listed as one of the Top 100 Best Places to Work by Modern Healthcare, securing this accolade for the fourth consecutive year.

“Santa Rosa’s standing as a Top 100 Place to work in Healthcare for 4 years running, coupled with our industry-leading activation support ranking makes us confident in our ability to serve MD Anderson’s go-live,” said Laura O’Toole, Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer of Santa Rosa. “Our associates are eager to be part of this effort due to their personal and professional passions for the ground breaking work in the battle against cancer for which MD Anderson is known.”

“MD Anderson’s goal is to have a seamless transition from our previous electronic health record to Epic so that patients witness little to no impact,” said John Frenzel, M.D., Chief Medical Informatics Officer at MD Anderson. “We sought expertise from Santa Rosa Consulting to assist us with this system improvement and are confident that we will be fully prepared for our go-live next year.”
