Greenberg Traurig’s Mark Mattioli to Speak at Pennsylvania Bar Institute’s A Day on Health Law
Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) October 08, 2015 -- Mark Mattioli, a Health & FDA Practice shareholder in the Philadelphia office of international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, will be speaking at Pennsylvania Bar Institute’s (PBI) A Day on Health Law in Philadelphia Oct. 8, 2015.
Mattioli will be presenting on “Value Based Contracting Under the ACA: What does the Future Hold for Provider and Payer Relationships?” The presentation will discuss why providers and payers are using “value-based” contracting arrangements to control rising health care costs.
According to PBI’s website, A Day on Health Law is comprised of six one-hour sessions that address current issues regarding a variety of health law topics. In each session, the presenters will provide practical tips and the latest legal developments on the subject. The six topics were selected from PBI’s 21st Annual Health Law Institute and will be presented by leading health attorneys.
Mattioli provides regulatory, transactional, and compliance guidance to hospitals, physicians, and other health care providers in a variety of areas, including antitrust, health care reform, managed care contracting, reimbursement, fraud, and health information privacy and security, and medical staff credentialing. He has litigated numerous cases involving health care entities in antitrust, False Claims Act, breach of privacy, and commercial disputes with other providers.
