Lucchese, the iconic Western brand renowned for timeless handmade boots, serves as the event sponsor of the National Cutting Horse Association’s (NCHA) and Western Pleasure events at the All American Quarter Horse (AAQH) Congress in Columbus, Ohio. This event, the largest single-breed horse show in the world, showcases approximately 6,000 horses and attracts more than 650,000 attendees.

As part of this event sponsorship, Lucchese will award 20 pairs of boots to champion and reserve champion winners in the following cutting and the western pleasure division events at Congress:

In addition to their sponsorship activity, Lucchese will exhibit a prime selection of Western boots, footwear and accessories as well as new styles, colors and exotic skins featured in the 2015 Fall Collection. The booth will also feature a sneak peek of the new Kacey for Lucchese collection designed in collaboration with Grammy-winning country singer/songwriter, Kacey Musgraves.

“Congress is a show we look forward to every year,” said Cindy Moore, V.P. of Sales for Lucchese. “We love the events, the horses, the buzz. But more than anything, we love the people—we attend Congress to support our amazing customers who support us.”

Speaking of support, Lucchese will host a boot-pegging demonstration and contest to showcase this ancient craft still used by Lucchese artisans. This meticulous process works by supporting the soles (and the wearer) of Lucchese’s handmade boots. Want to learn more and try your hand at the art of hand-pegging? Visit Lucchese’s booth on Saturday, October 10 for hands-on demonstrations and friendly competitions where the fastest (and accurate) hands win prizes.
