Ling & Louie’s Asian Bar and Grill to Offer Special Limited Time Menu in October

Scottsdale-based Ling & Louie’s will be unveiling its new Woktober menu showcasing wok-style food at several of its locations.

Woktober, or October as everyone else calls it, has really become one of our favorite times of year,” said John Banquil, Regional General Manager of Ling & Louie’s.

While many drink enthusiasts will be busy celebrating Oktoberfest this month, Ling & Louie’s Asian Bar and Grill is putting on an original month-long celebration of its own with a special limited time Woktober menu. The promotion will be taking place at the restaurant’s Scottsdale, Boise and Dallas Fort Worth International Airport locations.

The name “Woktober” is a play on the restaurant’s signature wok cooking style and each menu item is meant to highlight and celebrate what the restaurant calls ‘the heart of the Ling & Louie’s kitchen’. The menu is a concoction of old favorites and all-new Asian Fusion dishes for guests to try.

Each dish is meant to showcase the versatility of the wok with signature recipes that represent both sides of the restaurant’s “Modern Asian Meets American Comfort” philosophy. Beginning on the first of October, guests can order off the limited time menu and enjoy dishes like the Wok-Fired Wings, Asian Wokin’ Hot Curry, Cashew Stir-Fry, Jeweled Beef, Shanghai Shrimp & Scallops and their signature dessert Louie’s Cheesecake.

While it’s not the first year Ling & Louie’s celebrates their favorite cooking technique, it is the first year it’s focusing on just their cuisine. In years past, Ling & Louie’s has tied in the popular “Oktoberfest” celebrations by including several beers in the menu to pair with their dishes but has since decided to concentrate their efforts on new flavors and recipes for the promotion.
