Cary, NC, USA (PRWEB) October 13, 2015 -- The Balanced Scorecard Institute (BSI) completed its premiere Key Performance Indicator Professional (KPIP) Certification Bootcamp course to rave reviews. Course participants from the U.S. and Africa spent five days learning the fundamentals of performance management and how to successfully develop, deploy, and manage meaningful KPIs for strategic, operational, or program management. Participants were provided practical tools to developing meaningful strategic and operational performance measures, and then developed their skills through a series of practical application exercises.
Participants learned how to use the PuMP® Performance Measure Framework developed by Stacey Barr as well as many other tools, including the Logic Model and the Project Management Model to understand and articulate desired results, determine what to measure, set targets and thresholds, develop composite measures, and produce visually appealing reports and dashboards that better inform decision making throughout an organization.
In their course evaluation, one participant wrote, “…consistently provided practical assistance in how to improve performance measurement.” Another characterized the course as, “interesting, interactive, and intelligent.” Other raves included, “Excellent course and well worth the time” and “Great session…time to roll up the sleeves and get to work.” Indicative of the general opinion about BSI’s first KPIP class, one participant summarized their evaluation by writing, “Another excellent professional development option from BSI!”
The Balanced Scorecard Institute, in association with the George Washington University College of Professional Studies and Stacey Barr Ltd., developed the KPI Professional Certification program as a comprehensive program for leaders, managers, or analysts who want to learn how to build, deploy, and sustain KPIs in order to improve organizational strategic or operational performance.
The next KPIP certification course in the U.S. will be held November 2-6, 2015 in Atlanta, GA. The course also will be offered in the Middle East through BSI’s Global Training Partner, INFORMA, on November 1-5, 2015 in Dubai.
