This reduces the fatigue of remembering long passwords and filling up lengthy registration forms; thus enhancing the customer’s overall experience on the site. Social Login reduces cart-abandonment rate and extends customers’ default social browsing behavior to e-commerce sites and hence increases the sales conversion rate. ShopSocially’s Social Login app supports all major social media channels like Facebook, Yahoo, Google Plus, Twitter, LinkedIn and Amazon. It automatically synchronizes login profile data to popular email marketing platforms such as Exact Target, Constant Contact, Mailchimp, Bronto, Experian and others.

The app works for both iPhone and Android platforms. It offers up to 33% increase in registration rate, and an average 46% reduction in cart abandonment due to forgotten passwords. Educational Insights also implemented ShopSocially’s Photomonials app on their website, with the goal of improving product-discovery via customer generated photos. This app aggregated the customer photos tagged with their brand hashtag on channels like Instagram, Twitter and Facebook and showcased them in an attractive gallery on the website. These photos act as a source of visual social “proof” of customer satisfaction, and the often aspirational images can serve to increase engagement on eCommerce sites.
