Kent Based Daisybuds Fabrics Responds to Surge in Growth of UK Sewing Market
Birchington, Kent (PRWEB UK) 11 October 2015 -- Daisybuds Fabrics has seen first hand the recent surge in growth for the UK home sewing market. As a result of this, Daisybuds are happy to announce extended store opening hours. Daisybuds are also pleased to confirm they will be be joining sewing shops across the UK to celebrate Sew Saturday.
Launched in February 2015, Daisybuds Fabric Store is based in Birchington, Thanet with a bricks and mortar store as well as an online shop http://www.daisybudsfabrics.co.uk. Following increased demand for sewing and quilting fabrics, Daisybuds has now extended its store opening times. With immediate effect, Daisybuds store opening hours will be: Monday 10:30 – 4:30pm, Tuesday closed, Wednesday to Saturday 1:30 - 4:30 pm.
Daisybuds Fabrics is also delighted to be taking part in the UK wide Sew Saturday campaign launched by leading craft publication Sew magazine. On Saturday 17th October 2015 Daisybuds Fabric Shop in Birchington will be offering tea and cake, free goody bags for the first 20 customers and 10% off on the day.
The event is supported by the UK home sewing and quilting industry including May Martin and Stuart Hillard from the BBC show The Great British Sewing Bee. The event is being giving extensive coverage by leading craft magazines including Sew, Make It Today, Craft Business, Homemaker and Crafts Beautiful.The wide spread media coverage surrounding the event will no doubt continue to boost the profile of Britain's bricks and mortar sewing stores.
