Craft Business editor, Sarah-Jane Lampe says: “The sewing industry has experienced a surge in growth over the past few years, thanks to the likes of The Great British Sewing Bee helping to bring the craft back into the mainstream. Sew Saturday will give retailers the perfect opportunity to capitalise on the sector, helping to boost sales and attract more stitchers in store.”

Make It Today editor, Ella Johnston: agrees, adding: “It’s vitally important to celebrate our local sew shops. We love the fact that you can touch and feel fabrics, check out colour and texture combinations and get that all-important expert advice from those in the know – our sewing retailers. I’m proud to support Sew Saturday as these stores hold a treasure trove of sewing goodies and are great places to learn about the art of stitching.”
