As data and technology management experts, eTERA has a very good perspective to add on the best practices for managing both eDiscovery in the general sense and, more specifically, in government investigations.
Washington, DC (PRWEB) October 09, 2015
eTERA Consulting, an internationally recognized and award-winning leader in data and technology management, today announced that they will be a primary sponsor of the first annual Government Investigations and Civil Litigation Institute (GICLI) and will be a Gold Ambassador of the fifth annual Electronic Discovery Institute (EDI) Summit.
Both held in New Orleans, the GICLI will take place from October 14-15, 2015 and the EDI Summit will be held from October 14-16, 2015. eTERA Consulting’s Vice President and General Counsel, Ashish Prasad, is on the planning committee of both the GICLI and the EDI Summit.
“We have supported the EDI Summit for many years in the past and look forward to continuing to play a major role in the development, planning and implementation of these two programs for years to come,” said Ashish Prasad, eTERA’s Vice President and General Counsel. “As data and technology management experts, eTERA has a very good perspective to add on the best practices for managing both eDiscovery in the general sense and, more specifically, in government investigations.”
The GICLI was founded in 2015 to fill the need for education and programming around the best practices and practical strategies for handling government investigations and related civil litigation. Mr. Prasad will be a panelist for the session “Cradle to Grave: Meeting Government Expectations in Discovery,” which will be held on October 15th at 10:10 AM. Panel speakers will discuss the best practices on working with the government during an investigation.
Now in its fifth year, the EDI Summit brings together the top influential voices in the legal technology space. An outlet to foster discussions on the evolution of technology and its impact on the legal industry, the EDI Summit has become a must-attend gathering for legal professionals around the United States. Mr. Prasad will be moderating the opening plenary session on October 15th at 8:30 AM titled “The Judges’ Forum: Judicial Perspectives on Discovery Intervention, Settlement Oversight and the Proposed FRCP.” The panel will provide practical insights on judicial perspectives regarding discovery intervention, settlement oversight and the proposed FRCP.
“As federal and state rules and expectations regarding discovery continue to evolve, it is crucial to have a solid understanding of where the legal technology space is currently, and where it is destined to go in the future,” said Mr. Prasad. “We look forward to providing this year’s audience of in-house and law firm attorneys with both excellent legal education and memorable experiences.”
