MWH Global Awarded Multi-Million Dollar Contract for Environmental Services by the U.S. Air Force Civil Engineer Center
Broomfield, Colorado (PRWEB) October 12, 2015 -- MWH Global, an engineering, consulting and construction firm focused on water and natural resources, today announced the United States Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC) has selected MWH for a $48 million indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract to address environmental needs at United States Air Forces in Europe (USAFE) installations.
AFCEC has engaged MWH to provide engineering services for environmental conservation, environmental compliance, pollution prevention, environmental remediation, and environmental operations and maintenance support activities necessary to support Air Force and AFCEC environmental mission requirements. This contract also provides support of a broad range of environmental construction, repair, and demolition work to include remediation, restoration, and abatement on property in support of the Air Force mission.
Services may be required at various USAFE installations to include but not limited to: Aviano Air Base (AB), Italy; Incirlik AB, Turkey; Izmir AB, Turkey; Lajes Field, Azores, Portugal; Moron AB, Spain; Ramstein AB, Germany; Royal Air Force (RAF) Alconbury, United Kingdom; RAF Croughton, United Kingdom; RAF Fairford, United Kingdom; RAF Lakenheath, United Kingdom; RAF Menwith Hill, United Kingdom; RAF Mildenhall, United Kingdom; and Spangdahlem AB, Germany, and all geographical locations included in the USAFE mission.
The maximum value of the multiple award contracts is anticipated to be $48 Million over a five year term.
This latest contract award marks an extension of AFCEC’s ongoing relationship with MWH.
