Franchise Business Review names MaidPro as one of six companies offering low-cost franchising while generating annual average pre-tax income exceeding $100K per year.

2015 is proving to be a landmark year for MaidPro.

It is one thing to be a low-cost franchisor, quite another to offer a low-cost franchising opportunity that also generates annual average pre-tax income exceeding $100K per year and achieves consistently high satisfaction scores among franchisees. MaidPro, according to a new release from Franchise Business Review (FBR), is one of only six companies, meeting this distinctive combination of three criteria.

Franchise Business Review is famous for its massive annual study of satisfaction levels among 9,200 franchisees, covering 33 benchmark questions and 132 franchise brands. Within the group of 132 brands studied by FBR, MaidPro won the Cleaning & Maintenance Category in 2015, outscoring 11 other cleaning companies and also earning a spot on FBR’s Franchise 50 listing with a No. 9 rank overall and a No. 2 spot for its size category (100-249 franchise units).

A different cut of FBR’s franchisee satisfaction data, released last month, focused on low-cost franchising opportunities ($100K or less in startup investment costs). In that listing, FBR ranked MaidPro at No. 4 out of 80 companies overall. “Only 80 franchises with a minimum startup investment of under $100,000 had high enough franchisee satisfaction levels to make Franchise Business Review’s Top Low-Cost Franchises report,” notes FBR. Only six of the 80, including MaidPro, generate “an average annual pre-tax income of $116,525, according to franchisees who have owned them for at least two years,” the report adds.

“2015 is proving to be a landmark year for MaidPro,” says CEO and cofounder Mark Kushinsky. “First, we continued to improve our position in terms of overall franchisee satisfaction – in our industry, in our size category, and among the total pool of franchises tracked by FBR. Then, Franchise Gator ranked us No. 11 in its Top 100 Franchises, and Forbes gave us a No. 2 rank in its highly exclusive Top Ten Best Franchises in America (for our size category). This latest distinction from FBR is like frosting on the cake. No matter what criteria are being used to rank franchises, MaidPro consistently lands near the top. That’s because we are a disciplined, metrics-driven company with a fun, community-oriented, and totally supportive culture in which small-business entrepreneurs can really flourish.”

MaidPro is a Boston-based franchisor of housecleaning services with over 170 offices in 33 states, the District of Columbia and Canada. The company, which began franchising in 1997, takes pride in its strong owner community, cutting-edge technology and creative marketing. It has been honored with the Franchise Business Review’s Four-Star Rating and Franchise 50 awards every year from 2006 to 2014 for owner satisfaction. MaidPro was named one of the Top 50 Franchises for Minorities by USA Today’s Franchising Today. MaidPro is also a proud member of the International Franchise Association and the New England Franchise Association. The company can be found online at maidprofranchise.com.
