We are looking forward to giving our members and the community the opportunity to dispose of confidential documents for free, while protecting them from the possibility of identify theft.
LAs Vegas, NV (PRWEB) October 12, 2015
One Nevada Credit will be hosting a fall shred event at their corporate office. The community-wide event will be held on Friday, October 16 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at 2645 S. Mojave Rd., rain or shine.
Assured Document Destruction will be on-site to safely and properly dispose of personal documents including recyclable paper products, magazine, envelopes and newspapers. Electronics, ink cartridges and cardboard will not be accepted.
The shred event is free, but donations are welcome. One Nevada has partnered with local nonprofit, The Shade Tree to collect donations. Items of need include women’s hygiene products and toiletries, bed sheets, bottled water, boys and girls underwear and other items listed as “urgent needs” under the “Get Involved” tab at theshadetree.org.
Members and nonmembers of the credit union are encouraged to bring up to three boxes or bags of personal documents.
“We are looking forward to giving our members and the community the opportunity to dispose of confidential documents for free, while protecting them from the possibility of identify theft,” said Brad Beal, One Nevada President and CEO. “We are always pleased to partner with a local nonprofit and encourage our community to donate as a way of giving back for the free shred services.”
