Security Weaver Authorization Help solution is certified as powered by SAP NetWeaver®

Security Weaver today announced that its Authorization Help 1.0 solution has achieved SAP certification as powered by the SAP NetWeaver® technology platform and is now available for purchase at The solution integrates with SAP NetWeaver to allow both IT teams and end users to resolve authorization issues through detailed transaction histories and role and user recommendations.

Customers who use Authorization Help can achieve significant operational improvements. Ed Hammerbeck, senior application developer and PMP at Louisville & Jefferson MSD, said, “What impressed me most about Authorization Help was the 45 minutes to an hour per ticket it saves me investigating authorization failures. When we roll out new functions, that time really adds up. And considering we have people using SAP software 24/7 at different facilities, the event tracing saves me from having to call people back at odd hours to reproduce their error to capture a meaningful SU53 report.”

Authorization Help from Security Weaver reduces the complexity and headache surrounding authorization incident management by keeping detailed transaction histories showing the root cause of the incident. It also provides role recommendations that will give the appropriate access to users with authorization issues, and suggests current users with appropriate access. This enables business operations to continue while the authorization incident is being processed, dramatically reducing the time it takes to respond and resolve issues.

Authorization Help is a highly configurable solution from Security Weaver that helps organizations ensure that these recommendations are compliant with their security policies. It is a time-saving tool that helps streamline processes and improve productivity for everyone involved.

“We are thrilled to announce another certification with SAP NetWeaver,” said Terry Hirsch, CEO of Security Weaver. “Security Weaver’s Authorization Help solution now joins the list of our other products certified by SAP. These certifications with SAP NetWeaver and other SAP NetWeaver–based solutions show our commitment to creating products that help solve our current and future customers’ greatest needs.

The SAP® Integration and Certification Center (SAP ICC) certified that Authorization Help 1.0 is powered by SAP NetWeaver. Solutions that are powered by SAP NetWeaver can be more quickly and easily integrated into SAP solution environments. Customers can benefit from improved interoperability with SAP applications and with the large ecosystem of solutions that run on SAP NetWeaver. Choosing an SAP-certified solution can also help reduce overall IT investment costs and risks.
