Military Spouse Career Events in Tampa Oct. 14-15
Alexandria, Va., (PRWEB) October 13, 2015 -- The “Keeping a Career on the Move®” Military Spouse Symposium, a professional development seminar open to all military spouses, service members and veterans, will take place in Tampa, on Wednesday, Oct. 14 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (registration opens at 8:15 a.m.). The event, hosted by the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA), will be followed by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Hiring Our Heroes Military Spouse Networking Event and Hiring Fair Thursday, October 15. All events will be held at the A La Carte Event Pavilion in Tampa.

Background: The “Keeping a Career on the Move®” Military Spouse Symposium” is a personal and professional development conference for military spouses who are planning to enter or re-enter the workforce or take the next step in their professional careers. The symposium builds the bridge to the workforce by offering military spouses the opportunity to engage in discussion with installation, community, state and federal representatives; local and national employers; and other military spouses.
The symposium opens with keynote speaker U.S. Rep. Kathy Castor, who is the first woman to represent Florida’s 14th Congressional District in the U.S. Congress and is serving her fifth term.
