Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort Completes Two Habitat Homes in Lee County
BONITA SPRINGS, FL (PRWEB) October 15, 2015 -- The dream of homeownership was recently brought to fruition for two deserving families in Southwest Florida with the help of the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa in Bonita Springs, FL. Through the donation of over $148,000 and nearly 2500 hours of labor performed by more than 100 Hyatt associates, two new homes were built in San Carlos Park and Bonita Springs this year, providing safe and stable environments for children and families in need.
“I’m very pleased that our efforts and hard work have made such a positive impact for these families. As a steward of the community, we see it as our responsibility to help improve the neighborhoods and the lives of those around us,” said Brian Kramer, General Manager of the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa in Bonita Springs.
In a letter from Dave Dale, Chairman and Katherine Green President and CEO of Habitat for Humanity of Lee and Hendry Counties, “Your loyal friendship has helped provide a ‘Hand up” to more than 1,297 families who have experienced the life changing opportunity of affordable home ownership.”
Habitat for Humanity of Lee and Hendry Counties reports that 55 families in Southwest Florida realized the American Dream with new homes in 2014. Besides building homes, Habitat for Humanity of Lee and Hendry Counties owns and operates three ReStore locations in Southwest Florida, providing an outlet for unwanted household items and building materials.
