(PRWEB UK) 14 October 2015 -- • Peugeot’s 108 TOP! Cabrio is the perfect convertible 365 days a year
• High-quality, simple to use cabrio roof extends far beyond occasional summer days
• Priced from £10,995, it’s available with the innovative ‘Just Add Fuel®’ finance package
Hardy British drivers are famed for their love of cabriolets and whilst we might have said goodbye to the traditional ‘summer months’, customers choosing the chic Peugeot 108 TOP! supermini can have versatile and user-friendly open top motoring all year round.
The retractable fabric roof is made from the highest quality materials and has been engineered to provide excellent acoustic qualities. To enjoy the fresh air, simply press a button on the centre console and watch it slide back. There’s no need to stop the car; unlike most other open top vehicles, this roof opens and closes even at motorway speeds, so you’ll never see a 108 TOP! sheltering under a bridge when the rain comes down. It easily adjusts to any position, with an integrated deflector reducing cabin turbulence to a minimum.
The roof on the 108 TOP! is also high on style and available in three colours – Black, Grey or Purple Berry. What’s more, it’s exceptional value for money, costing just £850 more than the equivalent hatchback model, but less than rival products from other brands.
Like the hatchback variant, the 108 TOP! is available with the acclaimed PureTech engine. This three-cylinder 82bhp petrol unit delivers energetic performance, excellent fuel economy and low CO2 emissions. It’s the result of intelligent and innovative engineering, combining low-weight materials with the efficiency of direct fuel injection for outstanding driving pleasure and performance. The PureTech engine comes with a five-speed manual transmission as standard. A 1.0-litre 68bhp three-cylinder engine is also available, with the option of a 2-Tronic robotised-manual (automatic in function) gearbox.
Prices start from just £10,995 and running costs are exceptionally low due to the car’s outstanding environmental credentials. Emissions are as low as 95g/km, with fuel economy an impressive 68.9mpg.
The 108 TOP! is now available in three and five-door body styles and in three highly specified trim levels – Active, Allure and limited-run Roland Garros.
Active models feature: colour coded door mirrors and door handles, LED daytime running lights, manual temperature selected air-conditioning and a 50/50 rear folding bench seat. The comprehensive in-car entertainment package includes: a 7-inch touch-screen, DAB digital radio, Bluetooth connectivity, steering wheel controls and a 3.5mm jack/USB for external audio devices.
For an extra dash of style customers can individualise their 108 TOP! with a wide range of personalisation themes, interior ambiences and option extras. For a more dramatic statement, striking two-tone body finishes are also an option.
Getting behind the wheel of a 108 TOP! couldn’t be easier with the Peugeot ‘Just Add Fuel®’ scheme. One easy monthly fixed-rate payment includes three years of insurance, warranty, servicing, car tax and roadside assistance. Subject to terms and conditions, it’s now available to drivers aged from 18 for the first time, with a telematics monitoring function aimed at reducing costs through safer driving styles.
It means a 108 TOP! Active 1.0-litre 68bhp five-door (priced £10,995 OTR) is available through ‘Just Add Fuel®’ with a customer deposit of £1,488 plus 36 monthly payments of just £155.
In conclusion the 108 TOP! Is now available to a wider age-group, to an audience with a wide range of personalisation features who are able to enjoy the full spectrum of weather conditions irrespective of the speed they are travelling at.
