Array Architects and Martin Reddy Architects (MRA) are pleased to announce a merger of the two firms. “As I envision the future, my priorities have been to find a partner that would continue to enrich the career development of my valued employees, while also enhancing the planning and design services that I have provided for decades to my long-standing clients. Imagine my excitement when I found that partnering with Array would fulfill both priorities,” states Martin Reddy, AIA, founder of Martin Reddy Architects.

Array Architects, focused solely on healthcare since its inception in 1983, and MRA, founded in 1979 to serve healthcare, research and higher education clients, began merger discussions in summer 2015 and the transition will be complete December 31, 2015. Array’s staff moved to a larger, more collaborative office space at 1915 I Street, NW, Washington, DC from their office on K Street on October 5th. Several MRA staff members, including Martin himself, will move to Array’s new office space later this month.

“Being introduced as a resource to Martin’s healthcare, research and higher education clients, as well as having the opportunity to hire seasoned staff, could not have happened at a better time for Array’s continued expansion into the National Capital region,” says Carl Davis , Array’s CEO. MRA’s clients include such revered institutions as MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, Virginia Hospital Center, Children’s National Medical Center, INOVA, The Henry Jackson Foundation, Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Advanced Bioscience Labs and OrthoVirginia.

Array’s National Capital Regional Vice President, Adrian Hagerty, AIA, LEED AP , has built a reputable name for the firm in the two years he has been charged with introducing Array’s specialized services to the DC, Virginia and Maryland area. “Over the course of our brief two-year history in DC, the National Capital Region staff has formed the foundation of long-term service relationships with many of the region’s most respected health systems. By combining our current staff with the resources of Martin Reddy, our regional capabilities have been bolstered with additional research and laboratory expertise that will greatly enhance Array’s ability to serve our clients,” stated Hagerty.
