"We are excited to have been part of this iconic new hotel design team!" -- Bill Caruso, Founding Partner of WC&A.
(PRWEB) November 18, 2015
Des Hague, Co-founder of Aegis Enterprises and Partner of WC&A and Bill Caruso, WC&A's Founding Partner, are pleased to announce the completion of WC&A's latest high-visibility hotel hospitality planning and design project. The Westin Denver International Airport Hotel and Conference Center, owned by DIA and operated by Westin, has 519 luxurious guest rooms, a 37,500 conference center plus a public transit center on the first floor with commuter service from downtown Denver starting in April 2016. Each guest room at the hotel and conference center, which was designed to resemble a pair of wings, is the width of one window and if all the windows were put side-by-side, they would cover four football fields.
Caruso notes that the new Westin-DIA Hotel and Conference Center, designed by Gensler, will offer a complete range of food and beverage services to its future guests. Included are a ballroom/meeting room banquet kitchen, a dedicated room service kitchen, two specialty restaurants, a lobby bar, a coffee/grab-and-go cafe, dedicated staff dining facilities and a fully dedicated housekeeping department including uniform issue facilities.
We look forward to the unique hospitality elements, where fresh Colorado ingredients take center stage, being unveiled at the hotel's grand opening on Thursday.
"We are very excited to have been part of this iconic new hotel design team," said Caruso, "and as a long time resident of Denver it gave me great pleasure to work on this project knowing millions of future visitors will get to enjoy our work for many years to come."
"Now Denver can join the list of cities around the globe with elevated hospitality at the airport. We were thrilled to be part of the team that brought the hospitality to a new high for the mile high city," stated Hague.
