Tim Olson Cements Top Financial Adviser Status with EBA Adviser of the Year Honor
Omaha, Nebraska (PRWEB) October 14, 2015 -- Tim Olson, Managing Partner of The Olson Group of Omaha, has been named the EBA’s 2015 Employee Benefit Adviser of the Year. This is the second award for Olson in 2015 and comes on the heels of Doing More with Less, a book he helped co-author. Combined with Olson’s work in his local community of Omaha, Neb., and his regional presence working with over 150 clients in Nebraska, Missouri, South Dakota and Kansas, Olson stood out from dozens of applicants due to his holistic approach to employee benefits, genuine character and trendsetting business practices.
“We feel very blessed to see many things coming into fruition because of our hard work and commitment to our customers,” said Olson, who encourages his employees to participate in supporting the community in his adopted home city of Omaha. “The Olson Group sponsors over 20 local community charities each year—charitable donations were over $50,000 this past year. His career started with Gardner & White, an employee benefits company located in Indianapolis, where Olson spent 22 years. In 2003, he formed his own company, The Olson Group, and retained 95% of his clients.
