The newest location of RICE House of Kabob, South Florida’s popular group of Persian food restaurants, is open at 5818 South Dixie Highway near The Shops at Sunset Place. The restaurant offers a tempting menu of freshly-prepared traditional dishes, salads, chicken, beef and fish platters, vegetarian dishes, soups and desserts daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
“We’re excited that South Miami is the location of our sixth restaurant,” said Reza Shabani, one of four brothers sharing their dream of bringing their family’s authentic Persian specialties to South Florida by opening their flagship restaurant in South Beach in 2005. ”We take great care in creating our menus at RICE House of Kabob, using preservative-free, natural ingredients, and making our own hummus, falafel and yogurt.”
For a lunchtime change of pace, select special platters such as Joojeh, grilled chicken, or Chenjeh, char-broiled beef tenderloin, served with basmati rice, Greek salad, hummus and pita. Every item is cooked to order and steaming with flavor. Drop by for a quick grab-and-go lunch, or place an order online for delivery to your office. Save room for dessert—pistachio burma, sugar-free pistachio and walnut baklavas are baked every morning.
“We want to be the first choice for Persian food in South Miami,” said Mr. Shabani. “To make it easy for our neighbors to enjoy our food as often as they wish, they have the options of dining in our comfortable, causal restaurant with free Wi-Fi and HD TV, or ordering take out or home delivery online.”
