West Palm Beach, Florida (PRWEB) October 20, 2015
Copeland & Co. Real Estate, a new boutique real estate company servicing residential home buyers and sellers throughout Palm Beach County, has opened. The company held a ribbon cutting and opening party at their renovated office space in the heart of Antique Row at 3631 S Dixie Hwy in West Palm Beach, Florida on Thursday, October 8th, 2015.
The ribbon cutting was attended by Ambassadors from the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches, as well as city of West Palm Beach staff including City Commissioner Paula Ryan.
The residential real estate market in Palm Beach County is strong, and this Copeland & Co. is taking advantage of the trend. Prices are up roughly 9% year-over-year, according to the latest monthly data released by the Realtors Association of Palm Beach County, the industry's trade group.
In addition, median days on market, a standard metric indicative of how tight home inventory is, was only 22 days.
"This is a fantastic time to sell your home. With interest rates remaining low, and the requirements for lending strengthened, qualified buyers have flooded our local real estate market", says Tracie Copeland, Broker-Owner and founder of Copeland & Co. "That's means buyer competition is steep, and it's still very much a seller's market".
Copeland & Co. is currently hiring real estate agents for it's local office in West Palm Beach. Minimum qualifications apply, which can be found at http://cpld.co/joincco.
Big real estate brokerages are still common, but the attraction among Realtors is wavering. Same goes for the waning popularity of the "thrift model", in which brokerages offer little or no services to their agents in exchange for a reduced commission split. Tom Copeland, Vice President of Business Development and co-founder of Copeland & Co., says both models are losing their appeal among real estate agents.
"Realtors discovered high-speed Internet access ten years ago, and realized they could work from home or remotely from the stuffy, sterile realty company offices we're used to. Today we are starting to see demand from agents shift back to traditional brokerage models that offer robust marketing materials and operations for agents, and beautiful, modern office space", says Tom. "That's what we are offering agents."
Tracie Copeland earned her Broker's license from the State of Florida in August 2015. Within only four weeks, her office was open. Tracie is a native who began her career in the Palm Beach County real estate market more than 15 years ago.
