Arta Tequila Posts 60 Percent Year-to-Date Growth in Colorado
Denver, Colorado (PRWEB) October 14, 2015 -- Arta Tequila, a Colorado-owned company that takes traditional tequila aging to an art form, explodes with growth and expansion by posting a record sales year. The artisan tequila with a rebellious spirit introduces the new look of the brand with beautifully designed bottles that elevate the entire sipping experience to an art form. The new brand image is also prominently featured in a creative outdoor and online campaign launching October 1st in the Denver metro area.
Arta’s growth is fueled by both on and off-premise sales with on-premise achieving a 43 percent growth in sales and on-premise pulling in a 25 percent increase in case sales to off-premise sites. The company has expanded its reach in the US and can now be found in 9 states as well as four international markets.
“Tequila is one of the fastest growing spirits in the United States and Americans demand better-quality tequila. The growth of our brand clearly showcases that,” stated Randy Pierce, President of Arta Tequila. “Arta Tequila is now sold in 130 liquor stores and served in 200 restaurants and bars.”
Arta stands apart from other tequilas by artfully hand crafting tequila that is passionately loved by those who buck conventions. If the master distillers don’t grow it, they don’t use it. Made with their personal water source, which comes from the estate’s single-veined underground aquifer and proprietary yeast, Arta Tequila ages and distills beyond convention. All bottling is done by hand in Arta Tequila’s patented triangular bottle featuring an artistic sugar skull trademarked artwork. The artful new bottles are on shelves now and are also featured in the outdoor and online campaign featuring Dia de los Muertos imagery, which represents Arta’s celebration of life and is a nod to the tradition on which the brand was built.
“Our new bottle design fuses all elements of our brand,” said Lisa Hives, Vice President of Marketing. “The sugar skull represents the ancestral influence of our ownership and master distillers. The unique triangular shape showcases our artistic and rebellious nature we bring to tequila making and is also a nod to the Rocky Mountains where our ownership is from. Interestingly, you can position two bottles together to create the full sugar skull which is a beautiful art piece to add to any home bar, hence our name, Arta.”
Arta Tequila was purchased in 2011 by Tony Mayer to honor his father’s legacy. The company is Colorado-owned, but all products are handcrafted in the birthplace of tequila itself, Arenal, Mexico, a few minutes away from the town of Tequila in the Jalisco region. Unlike many tequila companies, Arta only uses agave they grow on a single family-run estate to ensure it is of the highest quality and pesticide free.
The company crafts Silver, Reposado and Añejo varieties along with a one-of-a-kind Extra Añejo. For a full list of Arta Tequila cocktail recipes, awards, and retail locations visit ArtaTequila.com.
