Students of Les Roches Hotel School are Disrupting Industry Frontiers with the Future of Hospitality Summit (FHS)
BLUCHE, Switzerland (PRWEB) October 14, 2015 -- Students of Les Roches International School of Hotel Management in Crans-Montana, Switzerland, are organizing the Future of Hospitality Summit (FHS), a conference that will allow industry professionals to share insights about the latest innovations and tech-based developments to the leaders of tomorrow on October 16–18.
The event will be hosted at Les Roches’ campus near the mountain resort of Crans-Montana. The entire concept, organization and execution of the event is led by members of Start-Up Mountain, a recently founded Les Roches student club designed for prospective entrepreneurs to allow them to share ideas and develop business plans under the guidance of faculty members.
The FHS includes presentations by exciting new innovators, including Markus Schreyer, the regional director of marketing for Starwood Hotels, who will address digital marketing; Elia Blei, director of digital at Condé Nast Italy, who will cover content strategies; Jeff Down, senior sales director of Sojern, who will talk about customer targeting; Sandra Steving, the innovation director of Fahrenheit 212 who will address industry innovation and disruption; and Celine Vadam, a business development manager for STR Global, who will focus on data analysis. The speeches are complemented by workshops that will be conducted in smaller groups allowing in-depth demonstrations of the latest tech-based innovations and encouraging students to engage with speakers.
The event will start with an introduction and a first presentation, followed by a welcome cocktail and dinner on Friday evening. The second day is fully dedicated to presentations and workshops and will conclude with a networking event, closing dinner and an after-party that will allow all attendees to network.
The FHS is just one more way Les Roches strives to offer its students value. Not only does the institution offer a curriculum that combines applied hospitality classes with theoretical courses in management theory, it also encourages innovation and business acumen among students, many of whom choose to specialize in entrepreneurship and go on to found their own companies.
