The new integration offers a time-saving combination of product information management in the SAP hybris Commerce Solution with CELUM’s management of multimedia content. For clients this means that users of hybris solutions can now access the CELUM tools and the respective media files’ source directly from the familiar interface. Redundant data is avoided this way, costs are reduced and a unified product and brand appearance is made easier.
CELUM CEO Michael Kraeftner, “The integration of SAP hybris Commerce Solution represents a further milestone in the technological partnership of CELUM and hybris. The new integration allows central management of the entire product data and supports our shared clients in their overall communication strategy through all their sales channels.”
For joint partners of the two software companies, the integration additionally creates a solid basis for client projects. SAP hybris Commerce fulfills all standard application cases and can be flexibly expanded for complex projects. CELUM and hybris poured the combined know-how of their 8-year partnership into the development of the integration.
The new module was developed within the current CELUM release 5.10.3 and offers users comfortable, time-saving and secure solutions: e.g. all formats, such as originals, pictures, thumbnails and RAW, that are required to ensure a reliable display and saving process in SAP hybris Commerce Solution, are already supplied with the SAP hybris Commerce integration – thus the previously time-consuming task of manual editing is made obsolete.
Beyond that, all search and navigation functions of CELUM are fully accessible without limitations. Edited photos are transferred to the Product Information Management (PIM) of hybris and the user is automatically informed in the SAP hybris Commerce Solution whenever these photos are subsequently modified in CELUM.
The new integration is currently available for versions 5.4 and 5.5 of SAP hybris Commerce Solution and will continue to be developed.
