Powersports Support (PSS) is proud to introduce a new tool called the Amazon ASIN Matching Queue. The Amazon ASIN Match Queue is one of the most important features of the Powersports Support listing tool for Amazon. Now Powersports dealers can quickly and effectively list products on the correct Amazon listing.
The PSS Amazon ASIN Matching Queue will help dealers list thousands of products with confidence by using features like:
- Match Strength Indicator to help expedite the matching process
- Daily automated Inventory, Price and Leadtime Updates
- Verify products prior to sending to the Amazon recommended listings
- Quickly remove incorrect listings before they become a problem
Amazon uses their own algorithms to match products to existing listings, usually this is done by using UPC codes. Most of the time Amazon’s algorithm works fine but there are instances when they do not match up correctly because the Powersports industry by nature typically does not provide UPC codes on products.
Using the traditional method to upload products to Amazon via spreadsheet is a very lengthy process, dealers would have to fill out product information in about 20 different fields in their spreadsheet. After the dealer has built out their spreadsheet they would then upload it into their Seller Central account on Amazon. Amazon would then process it and look at things like MPN, SKU, UPC, Brand and attempt to match your product to an existing listing.
Previously dealers did not have the ability to double check these listings for errors, dealers usually wouldn't find out until an order was placed and did not match their product. This would result in cancelling orders, unhappy customers and possible issues with Amazon terminating their account. The PSS Matching Process will provide dealers with a way to double check the products they want to sell against the listings Amazon would like to attach them to and give dealers some visual queues about the strength of the Amazon match.
