“Any one of the top 10 companies involved in analog should be extremely interested in Circuit Seed which not only lowers cost but provides for new IoT product solution opportunities that customers are screaming for.

Greg Waite, CEO for InventionShare™, announced today that InventionShare’s new Circuit Seed™ family of inventions will allow all manufacturers in the profitable analog sector of the semiconductor industry to design much more quickly and efficiently, and at a lower cost.
Mr. Waite said, “Traditionally, the market share for analog circuits has remained constant. However, with Circuit Seed we now have a real game changer. Instead of designing low power analog circuits that barely work and have limited range, you could be using Circuit Seed, a simpler design with fewer limitations, better performance, higher stability, and greater dynamic range. Circuit Seed building block designs also reduce the time and cost to design, test, manufacture and support low power devices.”
Circuit Seed will have a real impact on an industry which directly employs nearly a quarter of a million people in the U.S. The Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA), representing U.S. leadership in semiconductor manufacturing and design, reported that the global semiconductor industry posted record sales in 2014 totaling $335.8 billion. In the analog segment of the semiconductor industry, the market has been remarkably profitable and stable.
This segment has also historically created the most value in the semiconductor industry when measured according to economic profit. Mr. Waite says that Circuit Seed designs have the ability to meaningfully reduce the overall cost of manufacturing, but the greater opportunity is around the new design possibilities where small size, low noise and low power are valued.
Over the years analog design has been as much an art as a science, and since design talent has been a barrier to entry, this has created some stability in the market. However, Circuit Seed circuits are simpler to work with and do not require matched pairs or current mirrors, and will function on 40nm or smaller integrated circuits. The overall circuits are insensitive to parametric changes, making precision designs without precision parts a reality.
These circuits also run at logic speed and are self-biasing. They generally work over a large frequency range with high sensitivity and accuracy. Each benefit of the circuit design is not a trade off against other benefits but additive, in that you get all of the benefits, all of the time. Circuit Seed circuits will operate down to less than 0.1V using a 100% digital process. Using Circuit Seed designs can also dramatically reduce the 5-10 years it currently takes to train strong analog designers.
Mr. Waite said, “Any one of the top 10 companies involved in analog should be extremely interested in Circuit Seed which not only lowers cost but provides for new product solution opportunities that customers are screaming for. We can help companies reduce the size, increase performance, allow for easier design and provide more power in all devices ultimately generating more demand and higher profits, making opportunities such as the IoT dream a reality.”

About Circuit Seed
Circuit Seed™ is a new family of building block circuit designs for processing analog signals that includes a new CMOS Field Effect Transistor (CiFET) with unique properties. These designs all use 100% digital workflow components overcoming many of restrictions of traditional analog circuits. The inventors have an extensive track record of inventions and patents by finding unique ways to overcome circuit design problems. Circuit Seed has done that.
InventionShare™ provides inventors with funding, talent, expert processes to accelerate innovation, patent creation and monetization. Respecting that each of our inventors is the architect and mastermind behind the invention, we work with our inventors in a professional manner as partners helping them take their inventions to market.
