Saint Thomas’ Episcopal School Hosts Open House
Houston, TX (PRWEB) October 15, 2015 -- Saint Thomas’ Episcopal School (STE) is a private school for grades Pre-K to 12. The small class sizes allow teachers to know their students, rather than them being just part of a head count. Because of this closer relationship, personal guidance and encouragement is part of the school’s curriculum, which helps each and every student to grow to their full potential inside and outside of the classroom.
For a better understanding of how Saint Thomas’ Episcopal School is run, an open house will be held for the Lower School House (grades Pre-K to 5) from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 25. The Middle and Upper School (grades 6 to 12) will host its open house from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 10. Saint Thomas’ Episcopal School is located at 4900 Jackwood, Houston, Texas 77096.
Students continue to excel throughout the years of schooling in a variety of subjects and accomplishments including academics, athletics and the arts. Last year, STE students brought home state championships in orchestra, swimming, cross country, yearbook, drumming and academic competitions. Forty-seven graduates from the Class of 2015 received $5.2 million in merit-based scholarships and 24 percent were recognized by the National Merit Corporation.
As a result of the focus on personal instruction, college readiness and forming honorable young men and women, graduates leave STE well-prepared for the rigors of higher education and, ultimately, to be good citizens.
A world of opportunity awaits children at STE. Visit the campus to get a better comprehension of the difference STE can make for each and every student. To schedule a tour, please email admissions(at)stes(dot)org.
