Yusen Logistics (Americas) Promotes Reehill to VP, Operations, Transportation
Secaucus, NJ (PRWEB) October 19, 2015 -- Daniel J. Reehill has been promoted to Vice President, Operations, for the Transportation Division of Yusen Logistics (Americas) Inc. In his new role, he will be responsible for the day-to-day performance of the company’s Intermodal and OTR Highway Truck Brokerage service products.
“We are pleased to have Dan on board in this position,” said Brian Paolillo, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Transportation, Yusen Logistics. “With his extensive operational experience, I know he will lead our transportation team to the next level of success and be an asset to our strategy and business development initiatives.”
A 30-year industry veteran, Reehill joined Yusen Logistics as Director, Intermodal Operations, in May 2015. Previously, he was with Hub Group Inc. for 19 years, serving the last seven years as Regional Vice President of Rail Drayage and Intermodal Operations for the company’s Western Region in Los Angeles.
Prior to his tenure at Hub Group, Reehill held a series of increasing operational and transportation responsibilities at the family of American President Companies from 1984 through 1996 starting with APL’s Liner Division in San Pedro, CA. He was eventually promoted to Regional Director, Logistics, overseeing the Regional API Stacktrain Logistics Department, including its trucking (APT) and IMC (APDS) subsidiaries in Chicago.
“Yusen Logistics’ Transportation Division holds tremendous potential in linking together the company’s new and existing customers’ transportation needs into a seamless experience on the nation’s railroads and highways both in the U.S. and Mexico,” says Reehill. “The extent of global services and first and final mile capabilities within the Yusen Logistics family is extremely diverse, and to lead the Transportation Group’s full truckload Intermodal and Highway Operations is an honor and I look forward to it.”
