Ling & Louie’s Asian Bar and Grill Raising Money in October for Breast Cancer Research
Scottsdale, AZ (PRWEB) October 16, 2015 -- Ling & Louie’s Asian Bar and Grill is known for their vibrant atmosphere, their unique Modern Asian meets American Comfort menu and their signature cocktails. During the month of October, they are using those cocktails to raise money for a good cause.
The #DrinkPink campaign will raise money for the American Cancer Society’s “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” walk. These deliciously pink cocktails, wine and hard cider are using the signature pink color to not only raise awareness of the fight against breast cancer, but a portion of the money raised from the sale of each drink will be donated to the American Cancer Society, specifically “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” walk.
The “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” walk has raised more than $685 million dollars within the last 12 years and has had more than 11 million walkers participate in the event. Last year alone, more than one million people walked in the event raising $64 million dollars. Money raised during this walk is used by the American Cancer Society to not only conduct critical research in the fight against breast cancer, but also helps provide comprehensive support and information to those affected by the disease.
Throughout the month of October, guests can enjoy a series of uniquely pink drinks that have been put together for this cause. Ling & Louie’s is offering a Rose’ for wine drinkers, for beer drinkers there is a Strawberry-Lime Premium Hard Cider, and three signature cocktails that include the official #DrinkPink Pink Ribbon Cosmo. Ling & Louie’s is donating $2 from every drink to the cause.
