Finalists Announced for the 2015 Fearless Frontline Leader Awards

Fourteen finalists to be recognized for excellence in frontline leadership on October 20th at Great American Ball Park

Wells is a 2014 finalist and the epitome of a fearless frontline leader because of his ability to empower his frontline and his strong refusal to give up, even in times of adversity.

The finalists all have compelling stories and are leaders who listen to, empower and respect their teams and coworkers. They deserve to be recognized and celebrated for the example they set for those around them.

Finalists for the 2015 Fearless Frontline Leader Awards have been announced. Nominations for this year's award were received from across the country and reviewed by a panel of judges versed in frontline leadership excellence. The event will be held at Great American Ball Park and will include legendary Cincinnati Reds sports announcer, Marty Brennaman, as the featured speaker. The evening is expected to draw a large crowd of manufacturing professionals as well as other industry related guests.

“We received many great nominations, so it was difficult to narrow it down,” said Rich Cary, Director of Education Content & Workforce Development, Definity Partners. “The finalists all have compelling stories and are leaders who listen to, empower and respect their teams and coworkers. They deserve to be recognized and celebrated for the example they set for those around them.”

The following Fearless Frontline Leader finalists will be recognized at the awards celebration at Great American Ball Park on October 20th, three honorees will be announced:

The Fearless Frontline Leader Awards celebrate the day-in-day out contributions of the frontline leaders who fuel the manufacturing industry. This year’s festivities include a cocktail hour on the baseball field and in the dugout, ball park tours and the chance for attendees to take a swing in the Reds batting cages. Also joining the celebration is Cincinnati Reds’ former first baseman and outfielder, Todd Benzinger, who will be coaching the batters before they enter the batting cage.

About the Fearless Frontline Leaders Award:
The Fearless Frontline Leader Awards were initially created to celebrate the memory of Mike Stilwell. Stilwell was a veteran of the manufacturing industry, leading a team at Norris Screen and Manufacturing before his tragic and untimely death due to a four-wheeler accident in 2014. To honor the Fearless Spirit that Mike embodied both on the frontline and with his family the Fearless Frontline Leader Award was established in 2014.
