i76 Solutions, a digital marketing and technology shop based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, announced today the launch of an extension brand, the i76 Destination Marketing Group. The new practice is dedicated to delivering marketing strategies, services and solutions to customers operating within the travel, tourism, and economic development marketplaces.

The i76 Destination Marketing Group will be led by destination and hospitality marketing industry stalwart David West, Director of Tourism and Economic Development Marketing. Most recently, Mr. West was the Vice President of Travel at the Michigan Economic Development Corporation which is highly regarded in destination marketing circles for developing the long-standing campaign, Pure Michigan. Prior to Michigan, he was the Vice President of Marketing for the Pocono Mountain Visitors Bureau for just over five years. In addition, Mr. West speaks regularly at tourism and economic industry functions and has received numerous marketing awards from the American Recreation Coalition, the U.S. Travel Association and the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International.

Commenting on his role leading the efforts to build and grow the i76 Destination Marketing Group, Mr. West said, “As someone who has spent years working within the industry, I’m looking forward to going to the other side of the table to work closely with many existing and new friends to help design and implement marketing and technology solutions that are specific to the tourism and economic development industries. It’s no longer about pretty pictures and brochures. Our goal at the i76 Destination Marketing Group is to help our client-partners put together measurable campaigns that result in increased revenue, whether that is in the form of heads in beds or new industries moving into communities or regions.”
