Investors Bank Invests $25,000 to Rising Tide Capital in support of New Jersey Entrepreneurs
Jersey City, NJ (PRWEB) October 19, 2015 -- Investors Bank has invested $25,000 in Rising Tide Capital (RTC) and their Start Something Challenge (SSC) to continue the empowerment of small business owners around Northern New Jersey.
“We are proud to support Rising Tide Capital’s Start Something Challenge,” said Investors Bank President and CEO Kevin Cummings. “Small business owners are such an integral part of our state and country’s economy, so we are grateful for the opportunity to get behind a program that helps them.”
Rising Tide Capital’s SSC—a business pitch competition, gives entrepreneurs an opportunity to pitch their business ideas in front of a panel of acclaimed judges for a chance to win prizes towards their businesses. Focused on "putting the community back into community banking," and improving the quality of life in the communities they serve, Investors Bank demonstrates its commitment to community development by sponsoring the Start Something Challenge and Champions Gala—a celebration of the challenge finalist and fundraiser for RTC’s Community Business Academy (CBA), their signature 12-week business management program .
“We hope this challenge will serve both as a platform to showcase the best of what small business has to offer, as well as a helping hand to entrepreneurs looking to get their next big idea off the ground,” Cummings said.
Mr. Cummings will be honored at the 2015 Start Something Champions Gala hosted by Rising Tide Capital, November 5 at the Liberty House in Jersey City.
