A new organization called SIP (Stand, Inspire, Provide) has been formed in Dallas with the goal to raise money and give back to charitable organizations. The first event will be held in November and will benefit Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry Campaign. This annual event is the result of a longtime commitment to giving back by Alison Kieckhafer, CEO and Owner of The Event Lounge and Founder of SIP. Kristy Goode, Marketing Coordinator at The Event Lounge, is the
Co-Founder of the project.
SIP was formed in July 2015 and will be an annual gathering of business professionals striving to make a mark by taking a stand, inspiring others to do the same and providing aid to those in need in the community and the world. Each year SIP’s Board of Directors will select a different charity to partner with for the annual SIP Fundraising Event. This year the goal is to raise $10,000 + for No Kid Hungry while also raising awareness for the cause. Raising $10,000 for No Kid Hungry would mean providing 100,000 meals to children in need.
The inaugural event will be held Thursday November 12th at Hickory Street Annex in Dallas, Texas. Proceeds from this event will benefit No Kid Hungry. Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign is ending child hunger in America by ensuring all children get the healthy food they need, each and every day. The event will showcase sips and bites from caterers, restaurants, distilleries, breweries and wineries from all over Texas.
