Shumaker’s Charlotte Office Moves to Bank of America Plaza
Charlotte, N.C. (PRWEB) October 19, 2015 -- Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP, a full-service business law firm, is moving its Charlotte, N.C. office today to a larger space located in the Bank of America Plaza at 101 S. Tryon St., Suite 2200, in the heart of downtown.
The new office space has 32,391 square feet – over 6,500 square feet (25 percent) larger than the law firm’s previous site in the First Citizens Bank Plaza at 128 S. Tryon St. The First Citizen Bank Plaza was home to Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick for nearly 20 years. The new location’s more resourceful use of space affords the growing firm more amenities for its staff and clients.
“Over the past 20 years, we have grown in size, and this new and more efficient space improves the firm’s integration,” says Scott Stevenson, managing partner of the Shumaker Charlotte office. “With the help of designer Amy Taylor of Redline, we created the new office to be very client centric, and it has a nice homogenous feel that will appeal to visitors.”
Located just off the square in the epicenter of downtown Charlotte, the new office has six conference rooms in varying sizes, two client service areas and a welcoming reception area. There is also an interior staircase that connects the two floors. This unique attribute allows staff and visitors to access each floor easily, without waiting for elevators.
The Charlotte office is contributing to the fast-paced development of the Carolinas by providing representation on corporate, securities, real estate, tax, litigation, immigration, employment, creditors' rights, international business transactions and litigation, financial transactions, health and all other business specialty areas.
