Former Miami Dolphin Jason Taylor Partners with Award-Winning Boat Sharing Startup Boatsetter
Aventura, FL (PRWEB) October 20, 2015 -- South Florida-based, Boatsetter, leader in the boat sharing economy, announced a new partnership with one of the NFL’s biggest stars — hometown favorite and former Miami Dolphin, Jason Taylor.
Taylor is taking an active role in helping to shape Boatsetter’s business model; Taylor will assist with client recruitment and will be joining the Boatsetter advisory board, along with acting as company spokesperson. Taylor will be making a number of appearances on behalf of Boatsetter in the coming months, adding his star power to promotional events throughout Florida. Boatsetter is counting on Taylor to bring its boat sharing concept to fans who may be new to boating.
As a former Pittsburgh resident, Taylor didn’t become interested in boating until he moved to South Florida. “I didn’t grow up around boats, but boating has become a passion of mine,” said Taylor. “I like the fact that Boatsetter has created a way for anyone to have the opportunity to experience boating.”
Taylor is an avid boater and the perfect fit for the Boatsetter mission of making boating experiences accessible to everyone.
“Our team is excited to be partnering with Jason Taylor,” said Boatsetter co-founder Andy Sturner. “I’m thrilled that Jason will be taking an active role in helping to shape our business model. He knows boating inside and out and has been on both sides of the business. He is a great role model and a real friend to our organization.”
