Viewpoint Provides Superior BIM Planning and Project Tracking Tools

(PRWEB) October 20, 2015 -- Viewpoint Construction Software® makes available the latest release of its suite of collaborative project management products, Viewpoint For Projects, including the browser-based BIM Manager Information Planner. The Information Planner now allows teams to check and track all project documents including model data, as part of the BIM Execution Plan. This includes the ability to separate all of the deliverables on the project and easily allocate and track them throughout the supply chain at the various work stages. With this release, Viewpoint is also unifiying the suite’s product name at a global level so Viewpoint For Project Collaboration and 4Projects by Viewpoint will now be known as Viewpoint For Projects.
Viewpoint For Projects is a collaborative project management solution that integrates the entire project team - owners, architects, construction managers, engineers, and subcontractors - to facilitate a truly collaborative building effort. The suite includes Document Control, Project Communications, BIM and mobile field capabilities that automate and better control the construction management process, ensuring the right information reaches the right people at the right time.

Additional enhancements to Viewpoint For Projects include an improved RAG (Red, Amber and Green) Report allowing users to see where errors or warnings are without opening the model, as well as the ability to locate their position using the new Model Viewer Mini-map - a 2D floor plan to improve model viewing and interrogation experiences.
