Payverifi To Change Company Name to 'Paycertify' This October
Campbell, CA (PRWEB) October 30, 2015 -- The payment processing company known as Payverifi will be changing its name to “Paycertify” this October in order to reflect the services and software provided by the company, specifically regarding a major product expansion that the company brought in this summer.
The new name came with a new website design as well, which was scheduled to go live on Friday, Oct. 16. The website includes enhanced features for specific vertical markets that can benefit the most from Payverifi’s software. These industries include health insurance and healthcare companies, nonprofit groups, hotels, tech support firms, collections agencies, nutriceutical businesses, shopping networks and clubs and any merchants that process card not present transactions through a virtual terminal.
The decision to change the name came from a marketing standpoint because it gives potential clients and business partners a better idea of what the company can provide. Earlier this summer, Payverifi began offering certificates of authentication and certificates of guaranteed payment on those transactions; this was just another improvement in the company’s services to lower the risk of chargebacks for merchants and to eliminate first party fraud.
Chase Harmer, National Sales Manager of Payverifi, stated that adjusting the company’s name was a natural move since we started offering certificates of guarantee on authenticated transactions, so essentially we are CERTIFYING the transaction. By changing the company’s name, he explained, other businesses will know that we are serious about our resolution to eliminate first party fraud and help zero in on fraudulent transactions.
“With the new certificate of guarantee, if a transaction is charged back by a consumer for card not authorized or fraud, PayCertify will fight for the money back and prove that the customer did in fact make the transaction and get the money funded back to the merchants account. We’re really confident in what our product does and we’re excited to see where Paycertify can go in the future.”
