Expanded product capabilities to extend mobility across agency and brokerage operations

Applied Systems today announced the upcoming availability of Applied Mobile 2016, the latest release of the first mobile app designed specifically for the independent insurance agency and brokerage channel, at Applied Net 2015. Applied Mobile, formerly Applied MobileProducer, will increase enterprise mobility for an entire agency or brokerage by providing greater access to critical insurance information within Applied Epic and Applied TAM while away from the office. Available immediately, users can now access a new native app via an iOS® or Android™ smartphone device in addition to the previously available tablet version, providing increased on-the-go access to insurance information via multiple device types to improve productivity and customer service.

Applied Mobile enables insurance agency and brokerage staff to access and manage client, prospect, and overall business information anywhere, anytime via a mobile smartphone or tablet device. The touch-screen optimized interface enables users to stay connected on-the-go with a direct link to information in their agency or brokerage management system. The native mobile app allows users to view accounts, contact details and insurance policy information, add prospects, create and manage activities, and offers risk assessment tools that enable producers to accurately sell more lines of business. On-demand access to client and prospect information enables users to conduct more business outside the agency or brokerage and deliver better service to clients with a single, up-to-date view of client and business information.

Key enhancements for Applied Mobile 2016 include:

  • Applied Mobile for Smartphones: Applied Mobile is now available on iOS and Android smartphone devices, providing agencies and brokerages with expanded app capabilities, including enhanced GPS functionality, instant tap-to-call contacts through the app, and increased access to agency management system information on their daily smartphone device.
  • Sales Automation: For Applied Mobile users seamlessly integrated to Applied Epic 2016, the app will deliver sales automation capabilities directly on the mobile device, enabling users to view, add and manage sales opportunities to remain connected with the sales process while in the office or on the road.
  • Document Access: Users of Applied Mobile will have expanded real-time access to a wider range of client and prospect documents to enhance their in-person client service experience.
