Chambersburg, Pennsylvania (PRWEB) October 22, 2015 -- Noelker and Hull Associates is pleased to announce the recent hire of four new employees plus a high school intern, including: Mark Weaver, RA, CSI, LEED AP, Tracey Gould, M.S. IMC, Shane Beckner, LEED GA, Elizabeth Nelson, and Addyson Fry.
Mark Weaver, RA, CSI, LEED AP, project manager, specializes in institutional, health care, hospitality, corporate, government, and education projects. With over 30 years of experience, he brings extensive design, project management, specifications and construction administration experience to the firm. Projects and clients with Noelker and Hull include multiple Penn State University projects across the Harrisburg, Mont Alto, Wilkes-Barre, and PSU Hershey College of Medicine campuses, multiple projects for Gettysburg College, Wilson College, Caledonia State Park, and Coyle Library. Weaver is the recipient of nine (9) American Institute of Architect (AIA) design awards, including accolades for Pennsylvania State University Dickinson Law School, Maryland Historical Trust Preservation Award, and Hagerstown Preservation Award. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture (with distinction) from Pennsylvania State University. Weaver is based in the Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, office.
Tracey Gould, M.S. IMC, director of marketing, oversees all internal and external marketing communications, branding, and marketing assets for the firm. With over 21 years of experience in the A/E/C industry, she has worked in several markets across the United States and is a published author and speaker. Gould and her work has been recognized nationally with several awards, including a 2013 First Place Marketing Excellence Award (Target Marketing) from Zweig White, was named 2013 SAME Central Virginia Individual Member of the Year, and a 2009 PRSA Richmond Bronze Certificate of Merit (Creative Tactics). She is also a 2009 SMPS Ron Garikes Scholar. An active member of the Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Virginia, Gould is currently serving as vice president/president-elect and has served on the Board of Directors in various roles including president, as well as serving on the national Striving for Excellence Awards (SFE) Committee. She is also an active member of the American Marketing Association (AMA) and the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). She holds a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) from West Virginia University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communications from the University of Arizona. Previously, she served as an adjunct professor in public relations at West Virginia University, director of marketing and business development for SKA Consulting Engineers, Inc., and associate | director of marketing and public relations for Baskervill. Gould is based in the Richmond, Virginia, office.
Shane Beckner, LEED GA, architectural technician, serves as an Auto CAD drafter, surveyor, and construction document developer across multiple vertical markets. Beckner graduated from Pennsylvania College of Technology (PCT) with a Bachelor in Building Science and Sustainable Design and an Associates in Architectural Technology. During pursuit of his degrees at PCT, his team won first place in the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) competition in 2011. This competition consisted of three construction and one architectural students, and the main objective was to create a set of working drawings and bid for the project, acting as a pseudo company. After winning the competition, the Pennsylvania State Senate provided the entire team with a citation. Beckner is a new member of “The Foundry” – a retail store in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, for artists to showcase their craft in unique gallery and workshop space. He is based in the Chambersburg office.
Elizabeth Nelson, administrative assistant, has over 15 years of office coordination experience for several companies. Her most recent role was with Schultheiss & Associates where she served as accounting support. Her expertise entails accounting support, including accounts receivable and accounts payable. She holds an Associates in Accounting from Hagerstown Business College. Nelson is based in the Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, office.
Addyson Fry, part-time intern and graphics assistant, is learning about corporate graphic design and applying her knowledge in a real work environment through Chambersburg Area Senior High School’s Co-op Program, where she is a senior. Actively involved in multiple extra-curricular activities, including the Marching Band, Concert Band, Glee Club, and the Select Chorus where she serves as vice president, Fry is a member of both the National Honor Society and National Art Honor Society. After graduation next spring, she plans to major in studio art with an emphasis in graphic design and attend the Indiana University of Pennsylvania where she has been accepted into the Cook Honors College. She is actively involved in her church, St. Luke Lutheran, and First United Methodist where she attends for youth group. A budding photographer, having received a Scholastic Golden Key Award for one of her photographs, her work has been featured in several art shows, including Wilson College and an upcoming show at Shippensburg University. Fry is based in the Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, office.
